Remodel Masters

"Unsurpassed Quality & Design"

Remodeling your Bathroom makes your living space much nicer and adds equity to your home at the same time...

This remodel was completed in Dec. of 2010 for Jill & Larry.  In these pictures, we completely remodeled their Master Bathroom and installed radiant floor heat for their new tile floor.  Their new shower features an Onyx base, two custom made tile soap dishes, a shampoo niche and bronze tinted glass door w/brushed nickel trim.

The next two bathrooms were completed in August of 2010 for a client in Overland Park, KS.

Here's one of Meg & Bob's bathroom remodels we did in the summer of 2010...They called us back for the bathrooms after remodeling their Kitchen about 10 yrs. earlier!

Here's Mary & Wolfgang's complete Bathroom remodel including a floor warming system and custom glass block window!

Check out this custom, made from scratch Basement Bathroom with walk-in shower and wall mounted up-flush toilet.  It seems hard to imagine this project started out as just plain concrete walls in a cold dark basement!

Check out this contemporary half bath remodel featuring Travertine subway tile, Travertine chair rail & base trim, custom made glass tile shelf and a 6' x 9' wall made completely of glass mosaic tile.

Here's Shane & Tom's Leawood, KS. project where we completely remodeled a 3/4 Bathroom and converted another Full Bath to a custom made walk-in shower with two shower heads.  After viewing their pictures, read what Shane and Tom posted about their remodel on Angie's List.

Description Of Work:
Randy tore out a 3/4 bath and completely rebuilt it from scratch in addition to tearing out a large jacuzzi tub in the master bath and building a large walk-in shower w/ dual shower heads.
Member Comments:
I looked at 4 other contractors & Randy. Randy brought pictures of his recent work, whereas the others didn't. I liked what I saw & later invited Randy back out again to re-quote, as I wanted to look at potentially doing some of the demo and painting myself in order to reduce costs. Randy was able to work with my budget with us doing some of the minor demo yet he and his crew doing the heavy stuff. The 3/4 bath probably took longer than I had expected, but Randy is a perfectionist and I kept telling myself that I'd rather see him do it right the first time than to rush through something and have me later regret it (plus the tile work was a complex pattern). As a Real Estate Agent in Leawood, I see a lot of remodels that look like quality work & those that don't. Randy's work definitely makes the grade for high end quality & price wise, he's right there in the middle. I have no regrets & will recommend him to my clients and friends which puts my reputation on the line with no worries!

What words of advice would you give other members considering this contractor:

Trustworthy (I trusted Randy w/ my home, as we left for a week on vacation),

Quality (from an Agent's point of view).

Here's Joyce's Fairway, Ks. Bathroom remodel where we transformed her existing, outdated and very small Bathroom into a considerably larger area which included a custom made walk in shower and glass block window.  After viewing the pictures below, read what Joyce had to say about her remodel.

I recently purchased a house built in 1952 that had the original cast iron tub, hardware, wall, and floor tile in the bathroom. This remodel was challenging as the existing space was prohibitive. After reviewing several estimates, I contacted Randy Capone at Remodel-Masters. Not only did Randy have the lowest estimate, but he was also confident and reassuring concerning the project. I also viewed his web site and liked his work from previous remodels.

From a design point of view, I appreciated Randy’s creative idea to expand the bathroom size which allowed more room for the walk-in shower, water closet, and vanity. A feature I am absolutely excited about is the glass block window that Randy constructed himself. I am not creative in tile design, but Randy suggested the types of tile to use for wall and floor and the use of a listello that added color and character to the bathroom!

Additionally, Randy developed a schedule and stayed on schedule, working longer hours if necessary. The clean up after this total bath remodel was commendable. I have recommended Randy at Remodel-Masters to several of my friends and I intend to have Randy construct a deck for me in the near future.

This project included a complete Bathroom renovation where we removed everything in the room down to the bare studs and sub-floor.  As you can see we installed a combination of tiles from floor to ceiling selected by our customer, Carol as well as a 12" x 24" glass block window.  Please take a closer look at the photos below then read what Carol had to say about her remodel.

I love my new bathroom! I still spend lots of time just standing in there looking at it and admiring Randy's workmanship.
I had a chance to see Randy's work while he was remodeling my friend Joyce's bathroom.  He did a great job for her, and I was anxious to have him do my bathroom as well.  After the first day, when everything has been gutted, you wonder just what have you done.  But day by day you see the space evolve into the room you envisioned...only better.  Problems do arise and Randy is excellent about suggesting possible fixes. Randy has lots of great creative ideas to improve on your vision such as the way he used the listello on the floor and three rows on the wall instead of two.
Randy worked long hours to complete the job in a timely fashion and did a nice job on the clean up.  He does his best to make a stressful situation as painless as possible.  I am happy to recommend Randy to anyone looking for a top quality remodel at a fair price.
Oh yeah, watch out for his sense of humor!
