Hiring a master craftsman for residential remodeling can make a significant difference in the quality and outcome of your project. Here are several reasons why it's often better to go with a master craftsman:

  1. Expertise and Skill: A master craftsman has years of experience and a deep understanding of their trade. They have honed their skills over time and can handle complex projects with precision, ensuring that the work is done right the first time.

  2. Attention to Detail: Master craftsmen take great pride in their work and are highly detail-oriented. This focus on perfection can elevate the overall quality of your remodel, ensuring that every aspect, from structural integrity to fine finishing touches, is done to the highest standard.

  3. Custom Solutions: A master craftsman can create custom solutions tailored to your specific needs. Whether it's intricate woodworking, custom cabinetry, or a unique design feature, they can bring your vision to life with a level of craftsmanship that general contractors may not be able to achieve.

  4. Quality Materials and Techniques: A master craftsman typically has a deep knowledge of materials and techniques, ensuring that the right materials are chosen for durability and aesthetics. They also have access to premium tools and methods that can ensure your remodel stands the test of time.

  5. Long-Term Value: The high level of craftsmanship results in a more durable and functional remodel. Work done by a master craftsman is often built to last, which can save you money on repairs and maintenance in the future.

  6. Design and Innovation: Master craftsmen are not just skilled at executing a design—they are also knowledgeable about design principles. They can offer innovative ideas and suggest improvements that you might not have considered, ultimately enhancing the overall outcome of your remodeling project.

  7. Trust and Reliability: A master craftsman has a reputation to uphold. They are often highly reliable, trustworthy, and committed to completing your project on time and within budget. Their reputation for quality work often leads to repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals.

  8. Seamless Project Execution: With a master craftsman, you typically get a more streamlined, less stressful remodeling experience. They know how to manage challenges efficiently, coordinate with other specialists if needed, and make sure the project stays on track.

  9. Personalized Experience: Working with a master craftsman often means a more personalized experience. They can provide individualized attention to your project and collaborate closely with you, ensuring that your vision is brought to life exactly as you imagined.

Ultimately, hiring a master craftsman can result in a remodeling project that not only looks beautiful but is also structurally sound, highly functional, and enduring for years to come.

About Remodel Masters

Established in 2000

Why choose a Master Craftsman? ...What's the difference?

My original background in construction started off with residential Masonry about 40 years ago - concrete patios, driveways, foundations, brick, etc. I then got in the Union as a Bricklayer but because Masonry work is very seasonal, throughout the years I worked indoors for different companies in the off season. I learned many different trades and was taught by true Master Craftsmen along the way in several instances. I worked as a Union Carpenter, Residential Carpenter, Tile Installer, Drywall installer/finisher, etc. Finally in 2020, I decided to open my own remodeling company and Remodel Masters was born! However, I didn't want to be known as just another average remodeling company. I wanted to focus on very personalized customer service and the highest quality workmanship possible since I was born a perfectionist. Also, since things don't always go as planned, I'm committed to transparency, integrity and excellent communication with my clients to ensure they're getting exactly what they want. Next, because I was so fortunate to be gifted with pretty extraordinary artistic skills from childhood (which I'm eternally grateful for), I always try to incorporate my God given abilities into everything I possibly can, from design to execution. If it's not as close to perfection as possible, it's just not acceptable. All of my employees know this all too well because I personally train them.

Our pledge: “Remodel Masters will complete your project to the highest of standards, paying very close attention to detail, design and especially workmanship. I personally oversee every project, not some project manager like other companies. This means we NEVER cut any corners to save money.

We also stand behind all the talk with the best warranty in the industry; a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY on all work performed. We are able to offer you this unprecedented warranty because I have over 40 years' experience in the remodeling and construction industry, and I know how to build things right. Additionally, we don’t sub-contract out all the work like most other contractors. This way I have all the control over how projects are constructed. We use the best material for each project, then assemble and install with the highest level of skill."

Our Process

Remodel Masters works very closely with each client involving several well-coordinated steps from design to completion to ensure the best outcome. It begins with an initial consultation to discuss your vision, goals, and budget. During this phase, then we assess the space and identifies any structural or logistical considerations. Clear communication is key, as the homeowner’s needs and preferences are captured to guide the design process.

Next comes the design phase. Based on the consultation, our design team creates detailed plans, including layout drawings, 3D renderings, and material selections. The homeowner has an opportunity to review and approve the design, making any necessary adjustments before moving forward. This phase often includes discussions about finishes, color schemes, and features such as cabinetry, flooring, or lighting. We even go the extra mile to meet most clients at our supplier's showroom to help choose countertops, tile, fixtures, etc.

Once the design is finalized, the project moves into the construction phase. A detailed schedule is established, and permits are secured if necessary. Our employees begin the demolition (if necessary), followed by the building and installation of new elements. Our crew handles everything from plumbing and electrical work to framing and finishing. Throughout this stage, the owner of Remodel Masters maintains regular communication with the homeowner, providing updates and addressing any concerns.

Finally, the finishing touches are added, including painting, flooring installation, and any custom details. A thorough walkthrough ensures the work meets the client’s expectations, and once everything is completed, the project is wrapped up with a final inspection. The homeowner is then ready to enjoy their newly remodeled space.

This was our second job with Remodel Masters and we loved their work the first time so much we did not look elsewhere when it came time to remodel our kitchen. They did not disappoint. Randy and his team did an amazing job and we love our new kitchen. Everyone we worked with has a great balance of professionalism and friendliness. They did our work on schedule. Randy is very good about keeping changes down (except of course all the ones we asked for!) and consulting the customer if something needs to be addressed to discuss options. They work clean and respected our home throughout. As with our bathroom, Randy took the time on a Saturday morning to meet us at the tile showroom and bascially design the whole remodel from tile, backsplash, counter tops, the works. Many companies send you off on your own to work with the showroom staff, but Randy goes above and beyond in this department. His input is invaluable and really helped us design a great looking kitchen. I would highly recommend this company for any remodels as they are priced competitively and are a pleasure to work with.
